​Owner Operator Recruiting

 

• Semi-trucks 2000 or newer.

• Aluminum flatbed trailer preferable (48x102) (Covered wagon or Conestoga)

• Tractor / Trailer - neat in appearance and must pass DOT in our designated shop.

• Acceptable securement equipment such as: Coil racks, Beveled wood, chains, binders, straps, etc.

• Preferred incorporated drivers with own apportioned plates.

 

​Compensation under our authority

• 80% revenue with Truck and Trailer

• Plus fuel surcharge  and Detention Fees ( when applies)

• Weekly Pay

• Fuel Card Available ( Discounts)

• IFTA Provided by Cardenas trucking Inc

Insurance under our authority

​

• Cargo and Liability Insurance covered by Cardenas Trucking Inc

• Bob tail insurance provided by Owner/Operator

Commodities Hauled

• 80 % of freight is Steel: coils, sheets, bars, studs, rods but also haul lumber, machinery, palletized material.

 

Traffic Lanes

• Chicago Area (local),  IL, IN , MI , OH , WI  but we have availability in 42 states for the benefit of all of our Customers.

 

Pay / Settlement:

• Payday is every Friday.

 

Minimum Securement Equipment needed:

• Steel Tarps- 1 set (No holes and must be able to cover 48 foot long 4ft drop)

• Straps 4” (12)

• Straps 2”(2)

• Chains and Binders (10)

• Dunnage - 8 to 10 pieces of hardwood

• Coil Racks (10)
